    A lovely old and extremely convenient hotel in New Orleans with outstandingly helpful staff with great service. Had best possible location in the playhouse, very close to Riverfront. Great to have a lobby restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

    I loved the size of the rooms and bathroom and although we were looking over Bourbon Street it was very quiet at night in the room and I really appreciated that I was able to sleep soundly all night. The jazz club was a welcome bonus being right downstairs and I loved the pool being bathwater warm. We stayed in a quiet section of the hotel. Much appreciated

    The Royal Sonesta New Orleans was so nice with its fantastic location near Bourbon Street, great to enjoy all the vibrant nightlife. The room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and lovely decor. Plus, the pool area was a relaxing haven with plenty of lounge chairs and attentive bar staff!

    The bathroom could have used a bit more space.

    Overall it was a GREAT stay during my visit. The location was great for walking around an Esplanade avenue. This hotel was in a pretty nice area next to top zagat rated restaurants, New Orleans and night life of Bourbon Street. The personnel was willing to help.

    my stay was fantastic! the location was perfect right on bourbon street, making it super easy to explore. the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the pool area was a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle outside. better than my previous stays, this hotel truly felt like a welcoming oasis.

    there was no late-night room service available.
